Roadmap 2025
Last year, we solidified our tournaments. We had rare location matches that had never happened before. We learned that we need to improve the tempo of our matches. Overall, it was a great year, with challenges that we’ll work on this year.
General:
One of the main challenges for this year is streaming. Due to the nature of our community and with no spectator mode, one could say it’s the reason we didn't stream. That said, we should keep the momentum started with community streams, inviting new players and viewers during these events.
Another challenge to overcome during 2025 is server activity. Our community is, in fact, active on many different servers worldwide. This year, we’ll improve the consistency of all non-tournament activities, such as playing in groups in vocal chat, running live stage activities, and even more community events, yes, and with better descriptions of each event.
System-related, we now have a solid team registration for tournaments, which we tested well during our latest cup. Once the leaderboard and the website implementation are completed, we’ll be able to play using BFNations either on our website or here on Discord.
After the bot completion, we’ll work on new content creation, coordinating our timing with the upcoming news of the next Battlefield game.
Events:
Most of our 2025 events will be centred around nations. Going from the Nation Returns cup, World Matches Season 2 and special Nations events, we’ll emphasize this aspect of our community that we always had, but we placed a bit on the side during 2024 because we were running clans vs clans activities.
Pickups and blitz clan tournaments will take place during 2025, stay tuned for news when starting, and new staff for competition so as ruleset testing. All the steps we do for each clan's tournaments and activities will remain. We aim to develop the nation-side BFN at the same time of keeping a big place for the Clan reality in our community.
This year will be a year of fun and growth.
